I guess keep on coming with all the great news surrounding this, quickly improving, universe!
Only thing I could possibly see happening is them not making the 2015 release date for Episode VII. I'm sure they had to bend over backwards to get JJ Abrams to sign on in the first place, so I'd say if he don't feel comfortable with that date, they'll push it back. Let's face it... they've pushed back both Star Trek movies so far. This one might not be any different.

That is something I can live with! I'm talking about people dropping out, taking the story in a headscratching direction, things of that nature. So far, it seems all systems are a GO!

Lets hope they don't get too carried away with this. The last thing we need to see is a preview for "Tyler Perry's Meet The Calrissians".

Assuming the reports of who the first stand alone movie will be focussed on. I'm willing to give Yoda's a chance, but I'd rather not see it. However for the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THE WORLD I don't want to see a movie devoted solely to Jabba the Hutt.

More on the topic of the core movies. I am 18 and am just watching the movies(any of them) for the first time all the way through(I know, I know). I've so far seen IV, V, VI, and am in the middle of I, I personally don't hate Phantom Menace quite as much as most, but it isn't a good movie. I used to think that the hate for Jar Jar was going to end up being unnecessary and nothing more than bandwagoning hate used to have someone to blame for the poor quality of PM, however I couldn't stand the guy(thing?)

I really hope that the new trilogies are great movies again so we can have a modernly good looking and great quality movie.

I may have been really late to the party, but I'm finally there, and have become a HUGE fan of Star Wars, the possibilites that are opened by this sale are really interesting to me and make me look forward to the future.

I could figure Jabba figuring heavilly into the long discussed Boba Fett film but I do not see him supporting a stand alone film.

As far as the Yoda movie goes ... George did say in an interview a few years ago that IF he ever did another movie ... it would be set in the "old republic" era and would be about a young padawan Yoda ... I would be pretty down for that (if done right lol)

I'm not sure I would want Noble's face covered up by lots of makeup or that mouth contraption Malgus has. He can convey a malevolence in his face that I would hate to see covered up. Maybe he would play someone who used to work in the Imperial Navy or for the Emporer. I don't think we need a sith. The villian could just be a normal person aspiring to greatness and destruction of others.

From what I've read, everybody should take that rumor with a very tiny grain of salt.

But still...just the thought is squeal inducing.

Oh I totally took that off the top of my head. I don't know how much they want to start delving into the Knight of the Old Republic stroryline, if at all.
When I saw that older picture from Fringe, the first thing that popped in my head was Malgus.
Maybe Grand Admiral Thrawn?

Just the thought of Noble playing a villain in Star Wars has my mind racing with possibilities. The man is brilliant, and I'd love to have him in the Star Wars universe. I just hope he isn't wasted. Last thing I want is him saddled with a character like Nero in Star Trek 09 or voicing a CG character.
