Yeah, it was horrible. I didn't make it 30 minutes into it before cutting it off.

Twilight time's Demetrius and the Gladiators.
It's not a good transfer (ok, I can live with that, since it is supposed to look the best it can), BUT it has also audio sync issues!
This was stated by many customers, but unfortunately Twilight Time people can't see it..

I wish that I had not bought my very first Blu-ray.

I liked that first Blu-ray so much that I started buying other movies that I like in the format, and this has become an expensive hobby.

Really? I thought 2 was badass, and 1 was only okay? I proudly own both Blu-Rays.

Glad you liked it but no, I just couldn't get into it. I even really like most Nic Cage movies too.

My first blu bought was 28 Days later. While I love the film, I couldn't pick a much worse quality blu to start off with and was pissed I even bothered buying a player or the disc. It still leaves a lot to be desired in a/v quality, but it is what it is and can't look any better. Great film meant to look bad. I'm cool with the disc now, but what a letdown that first viewing was.

Ghost Rider 2 is the first 3D movie I saw in the theatres. I know we're both Nic Cage fanatics so maybe our opinions are a bit biased but I honestly didn't think Spirit of Vengeance was bottom-of-the-barrel terrible. Would I watch it again? Probably not. But I've seen much worse.

Any Resident Evil movie.

Avengers - what a POC ( or POS). Made for kids. During the whole movie, only one human died. It amazing that a whole invasion happened and just one dude was killed.

That's the stupidest reason I've ever heard for calling a movie shit.

I second that, the things some people look for in films baffle me.

yeah...that's a new one for me as well.

I was entertained to holy hell watching The Avengers, and at no point did I count the amount of human casualties and realize it wasn't enough...to each their own I suppose...

On this topic, the one thing in my collection that troubles me is True Blood: Season One. I can't wrap my mind around owning only one season of a TV show, but I also can't wrap my mind around buying every season of the show.

I would if they were really cheap, maybe used copies or something, but the show is losing steam for me and I am starting to have the "does this really have much replay value?" question floating around in my head.

Sure I can. It's called an opinion. Logic has nothing to do with it. And I could go into detail as to why those films did not work for me.

But the real irony is someone who owns Shooter, Tears of the Sun, Wrath of the Titans, Timecop, and all the Twilight films calling out MY taste.

I must admit I haven't even taken off the plastic, but I'm not sure why I have 'Robocop' when all the reviews for it (regarding the transfer) have been awful.

Yeah, regretted that one too. The good thing about buying new blus that suck, though, is that you can always flip them for about what you paid for them... so it's really just the long hard way of essentially renting.

I have perfect reasons for all of these:

Tears of the Sun - Hard to go wrong with Willis.
Shooter - Mindless story, but great action sequences.
Wrath of the Titans - I'm a sucker for Greek mythology and at least it was better than Clash.
Timecop - Didn't even want it, but it came with Bloodsport.
Twilight films - belong to my wife.

Extract - not NEARLY as funny I was hoping it would be. I was really counting on something along the lines of Office Space with Mike Judge getting back into the "workforce comedy" routine, but other than cracking a few smiles it was boring and unfunny.

The Lovely Bones - NOT a "bad movie" but not one I feel I'll ever watch again and thats reason enough.
