A "Popcorn Movie" is a film that has a lot of action and is a fun waste of time. Examples being Transformers or The Expendables 2.

You are not alone. I am still trying to find a better paying job...lost my job in August and the temp job has only been HALF what I was making, so I am really trying to hold back on buying Blus. Course I got a big tax return, so Im picking a few up of late....but basically to fill my movie fix I got a library card and have been renting 10-15 old dvds a week. I'm trying to go back to early 80s or before as I never really have gone back that far, as I was just a baby then. Found a gem today called THE LEGEND OF BILLIE JEAN.

The good news is I dont pay 20 bucks for a new release and when one day I find a job, all these flicks will probably be half that price. It's also teaching me to wait on movies for better prices. Something as great as Les Mis or Silver Linings will still be first days though!
