France Serie Noire

Série Noire Blu-ray PRE-ORDER

NEWS

Quote:
StudioCanal have revealed that they are planing to bring to Blu-ray director Alain Corneau's classic neo-noir thriller Série Noire (1979), starring Patrick Dewaere (Going Places), Marie Trintignant (Story of Women), Bernard Blier (The Tall Blond Man With One Black Shoe Collection), and Myriam Boyer (Un Coeur en Hiver). The preliminary release date for the French market is June 11th.

Based on Jim Thompson's novel Hell of a Woman. Franck Poupart is a slightly neurotic door-to-door salesman in a sinister part of Paris' suburbs. He meets Mona, a teenager, who's been made a prostitute by her own aunt. Franck would like to change his life and also save Mona from her aunt. Murder is the only solution he finds to achieve his goal... A very gloomy movie, exuding dispair and uneasiness, with pathetic characters.
Superb news
