Sometime in the next day or so my first Blu Ray player will be arriving. I've done a little searching on the net and there seems to be conflicting opinions floting around about HDMI cables. I've heard that they are all basically the same and if I were to buy one of the high priced ones I'd just be throwing my money away (true or false?). I happen to have an extra cable from my DirecTV installation (I had two TV's hooked up but the one in my Daughters room is an old non Hi-Def set so theres a spare). Can I use that cable and if so will I be getting all the picture my new player is capable of? If not which cable brand should I be looking at? Sorry if this isnt in the correct section, I'm new to this forum and couldnt locate the appropriate place (if this isnt it).
