You've come to the wrong place mate. We're all enablers here.
Take 12 steps to your mailbox and pick up your new goodies from Amazon...
Quote:
1. Don't admit you have a problem. You don't. If you can manage to dress yourself competently enough to walk around Best Buy without people pointing at you, you're doing fine.
2. There is a power greater than yourself it's called 4k and will soon (not too soon) be your new master and Overlord.
3. Give yourself freely to your new Overlord. But not too freely, keep your weekends open.
4. Take inventory of your Blu-ray's. Lists are good.
5. Don't admit your failings to your Overlord. He'll send you back to SD in a heartbeat.
6. Ask the Overlord to remove all DNR and EE from your beloved Blu-rays. He will try but Universal have made the job much harder.
7. Ask your new Overlord for a bigger HDTV. With 3D.
8. Make a list of all the people who borrowed BD's from you and have not yet returned them. Hunt them down and make amends.
9. If you can't find the people who've borrowed your BD's, go to their houses and reclaim them. The keys are under the mat/fake looking rock in the front yard or you can fit through the cat-flap. People have really big cats these days. Be careful there maybe a puma inside.
10. Take a new inventory. Be honest. There are gaps in your collection. You may need to buy a few Digibooks or Steelbook's to fill that gap. If you don't have three copies of Blade Runner (a Steelbook™, A Digibook and a slip covered Viva Elite with UV copy) then you'll need to purchase them.
11. Bow to your new Overlord. They will provide BD's in the bedroom upstairs. Wirelessly.
12. Once you've gained a new understanding of your life, preach the Blu-ray message to others. Especially the ones who say "it does not look better than my DVD's," be patient these dim-witted folk will be the most difficult to convert. But their journey will be the most worthwhile...
