Sure about that? It's obviously been a while since I bought mine, but these things disappeared REALLY fast. I had to buy mine on eBay very soon after its release.

As an aside, looks as though this isn't gonna be the $100 Steelbook that was forecast by some. I've been periodically watching them on eBay and most end in the $35-$45 range, with the occasional (and frankly odd) outlier at around $60. I think two things happened, either this wasn't nearly as rare as was thought it might be, or, the market to own the film is just quite soft, and there isn't a lot of desire to buy it. I'm going to be monitoring the Target Django Steelbooks to see what happens with them, I have one being mailed to me from Target.

Sorry to disappoint, but I don't think there is any show to watch popcorn to. I just gave an opinion, others disagreed, it happens in life.

Why? Some people just disagreed with an opinion I gave, I don't see a problem with that, nobody is arguing....what would cause a lock?

Oh, so the "shut up rookie, you don't know anything about SB" quote is not flame bait? Trust me, if it continues, the mods will lock and clean the thread up, and issue warning to the individual/s involved.

Eh, when he posted it I thought he was maybe tryin' to start some mess but it's cool, I think it was mostly in jest. I take no offense at his comment.

Target carries them? Wow, see, last I heard, they were OOP and I saw one end on eBay recently for close to $50 I thought. I had no idea they were still floating around in the wild.

No reason to get testy my friend, we all make mistakes. I suppose I misjudged the amount of Scarface's out there.

Damn right and what I wouldn't give for one. Pretty sure it's Canada only and the gentleman asking about them was talking about US releases.

No harm done. As I said, I completely misjudged it I guess, but then again I haven't followed it a whole lot since going through the values of a few of my OOP's on eBay a little while back.

I found out by mistake, I went to target to get the ET steelbook and I saw 8 of them and I was shocked.

I was at Best Buy today browsing not looking for anything in particular and low and behold I was surprised to see a copy of this steelbook so I immediately snatched this up since I missed out on in on release day. Although the price rang up $29.99 the price tag on the shelf said $19.99. The sale price ended on 4/13 but since the tag was still on the shelf they adjusted the price for me as a one time courtesy .

BTW way this is no longer on the BB system. The cashier tried to look up the sku but nothing was coming up.

Tennessee or Virginia? If it is Tennessee, we're about 5 hrs away. Bristol touches the Virginia border.

was trying to figure out how far you were from Franklin TN. that's where Emotiva has their annual event. i've been to a couple of them and they are very nice. Franklin is very, very nice. Went to Memphis and partied hard last year!
