Easy reference here http://www.sfu.ca/sonic-studio/handb..._Contours.html When you calibrate all of your speakers(including the subwoofer) to 75dB on the meter the receiver is using a tone that is band limited and -30dBFS. Full range speakers usually get something like a 500hz-2000hz signal.....subs get 40-80hz. The reason the tone is -30dBFS is so you can calibrate everything at volume levels that won't be excessive. After calibration the system should reproduce "reference levels" when the master volume display reads *00*. This assumes there are no limiting factors involved in the audio presentation. Tom V. Thanks, its good, i watched a couple scenes, they were good i played the Darla scene and i thought the XS-30 was better in that scene, it might be due to placment also, will test more this weekend, as im sick right now.

Thanks, yea another one allready, i need Duals in my room, i cant go from Dual Empires, to a Single XV-30, i will only have to pay $159 out of pocket from my nex check, as i will get the rest back from the XS-30.
