few questions about guitar hero III for 360

i recently bought the game and i have a few questions:

1) is there any way to get new songs or "add ons" without xbox live? (such as a usb)

2) does the guitar that came with it work with guitar hero I & II?

3) IS THERE ANYWAY TO GET A JIMI HENDRIX SONG IN THE GAME? (possibly an add-on or download or something?)

EDIT: i also heard no doubt is in the game...how would i get those songs? and would they cost money?
