He said it will feature few more seconds of gore and deleted scenes that were more character development. It might not ever come out so I will buy it anyway as I loved it.

One of the biggest things I had against this remake was the lack of character development. The only characters I could care for was Mia, and Eric. Maybe Mia's brother since they're related, but still not a good enough reason for me to care for him. Just thought the characters were not devloped that well. I can't wait to see the deleted scenes to see more of the character development, kinda sad that I have to watch deleted scenes to see more film development instead of watching a new cut to the film.
