Denmark Blachman (NSFW)

I was surfing the BBC and I came across this article about the new Danish series Blachman (2013) and the controversy it is causing. The show's premise is basically that these guys sit in a low-lit (well, specifically-lit) room and have a woman come in and stand in front of them, completely nude and silent, while they talk about her body and all manner of things related to sex. It has generated quite a lot of attention, because many feel it's an incredibly sexist show, especially given the fact that the naked woman cannot say anything.

On a lark, I went to the DR's web site, just to see if I could watch any of the show, and it turns out that not only can you watch an episode in the USA, but they have English subtitles for it, as well!

I have watched a little more than ten minutes of Episode 6.6, and I have to say, this is the most bizarre television show I have ever seen from Western Europe.

Right now, only the one episode is available, so I have a feeling that this may have been done to generate more publicity for the series, but still, it is a fascinating example of Danish television...

And I have the perfect solution to the sexism problem: Simply reverse the situation with every other subject--that is, alternate between a naked woman being judged by men, and a naked man being judged by women.
