Default waste Rant

So, Signed up for the sony card to get the disount, even though I had some reservations about doing so, but anyways.... a few days ago, I get a tin that looks like a 2-pack of tennis balls (metal pop open lid and all) it's full of shredded wood shavings for packing protection purposes, and it has a "SONY" button in it.... it's the "easy button" that has a USB connector, and cable going to this button, so if you plug it into your computer, you just push the button and it takes you to the sony-style website (or maybe it's just Sony's website, but I'm guessing sony-style since they are in the business of selling stuff!) either way, I didn't try it... and threw it out, but thought that it was ridiculously wasteful, and that sony was flaunting their cash......

Not to marketing dept. stop sending me stupid junk, I like your Televisions, I'll buy one, send me a coupon, not a stupid "Button" and when I'm ready to buy one, I'll find your website..... I'm pretty sure I can remember to google "sony" if all else fails.
