Absolutely. I still need to watch this on my Epson. Love the 3D in this flick.

Nice haul! I thought Green Lantern was a good movie, comical and pretty interesting. Fright Night has good 3d on the other hand. Haven't seen upside down yet

I really enjoyed Green Lantern also, haven't seen it in 3D yet though, but I don't really understand why the movie itself got hated on so much, and I really hope they bring Ryan Renolds back as Green Lantern in Justice League.

Watched Men in Black 3 for the second time in 3D last night (Last saw it in 3D in theaters about a year ago during its run). Still a surprisingly great entry with wonderful 3D effects (Especially the time jumping scene off the Empire State Building).

Bought Upside Down at BB recently, so I think it will be my next watch.

3D is rather weak. The movie is a tad slow, although I don't agree with all the bashing it got either.

Started watching Immortals 3d on my 150" for the first time ( earlier saw it on my old 120") and it is incredible. Full screen , sharp visuals with great color palette. I would wage a bet if some one said it was a conversion as the 3d in this looks perfect. I have to Fastfirward some gruesome scenes but boy oh boy, what a difference a bigger screen makes as I don't remember being so awed earlier.

Boy some of the full screen movies are so immersive that I feel like I am a spaceship whose one wall is made of glass looking into this other world that is pretty much looks lifesize at 14 feet from this 150". I cant imagine how a 4K projector would look!

And yes you are worthy ! Its frigging 200$ Elite screen on amazon. sure its not tab tensioned and has some waves, but I can live with that for the crazy immersion I get. Plus I dont whine about scope format anymore as it fills my cone of vision quite well But I will take a fullscreen anyday over a scope format.

Everytime I watch a movie 2 or 3 times and derive same pleasure, then it justifies the cost of this expensive hobby

Heheh, talk about an expensive hobby - try purchasing some anime Blu-rays... most two-season series start around $120 and go up hundreds of dollars from there! I'd hate to see the prices if they released any of those in 3D!

Tomorrow night is my July Monthly Movie Night #1, Saturday is night #2 - we will be watching Jack the Giant Slayer 3D, it's official!

Your last sentence.....no truer words can be spoken. I agree 100%.

I feel the same way about watching movies on a large screen/wall. It just envelops you. I absolutely love it. I have no desire to go to the theater....I can wait for its home release. Only time I go to the theater is during the holidays with my family. Last movie I saw in the theater was Rise Of The Gurdains (the week of Thanksgiving).

Watched:
The Hobbit 3D with a friend. She hadn't seen it before, or any of the LOTR movies. She likes the Harry Potter film very much, so I told her she would enjoy The Hobbit. I'll be picking up the LOTR movies soon so she can enjoy those as well. Also, this was her first time watching a 3D movie. She enjoyed the 3D and the movie.

Oops, I misread and misspoke. Meant to say Green Hornet, not Lantern. Seth Rogan is pretty funny in it.

Penguin King (£3.99 on Play ATM)

It was boring as all hell but looked great with accurate looking native 3D and great PQ.

Upside Down

Great little film and even though it had conversion errors coming out the whazzoo it was still very much worth watching in 3D.

I enjoyed Green Hornet as well. It like Green Lantern also took a beating. I thought it was a good action flick though.
