There are rumors on the forums from Taiwan that this projector has a form of E-shift (JVC Tech to make a 1080P panel produce close to 4K) plus image enhancer like Sony's reality creation or Darbee.

Treat as a rumor at this stage. Users in Taiwan (customers have taken delivery of the HD-90) are reporting very small pixels and that a type of E-shift is how there is 124 mega pixel been reported in the information above.

One user was asked about fan noise. He reported he didn't know there was a fan. He checked and could only hear it when he put his ear on the projector itself.
