Imagine a M or TV-14 rated show that follows Matt Murdock in his civil life with trials and having to deal with the worst scum of the city (with a treatment akin to Damages or The Practice), and on the other hand a superhero with anger issues that resorts to vigilante and very violent means to "end" some dead end cases... Would require very good writters, show runner and cast, but it could be an interesting exercise...
Yes, I'm sure it would.

Anna Hutchison wouldn't be a bad Sue Storm. Any thoughts?

It likely won't matter as you will not be able to see anything past the shaky cam anyway

Nobody missed it. It's old news. This thread is filled with discussion on it. I think most people haved moved passed it and are just going to wait and see how it's explained, or if it's explained...or if they are still even brother and sister any more.

I've been more concerned with the young ages. I'm guessing we are going to be dealing with the FF in college?

The movie is starting to gain steam again apparently over at Fox. They said they're going to start screen testing actors sometime next month.

There's pretty much three scenarios how this turns out for Fox, with only one being positive:
  • The movie actually turns out well, and it ends up making a boatload of cash, the studio gets to keep the rights, and keeps making films.
  • The movie is terrible, it tanks at the box office, and Fox gives the rights back to Marvel, much like Sony did after Ghost Rider 2.
  • The movie falters, doesn't make it to production by October, and the rights revert back to Marvel. Fox never shoots a frame of it.

Now, to me, the ideal scenario is the last one, because everything about this film so far screams trouble to me. It all seems so haphazardly put together, and with it allegedly shooting in March, they're riding pretty close to having to make another push back, because they haven't even cast the film yet. The script has gone through numerous rewrites already as well, because the script was (Not sure if it still is...) a mess. Fox should just focus on the X-Men franchise and let the rights go back to Marvel.

The thing is, we pretty much know that the third scenario won't happen, and I'm pretty much betting the first won't either, so I'm sadly thinking we're stuck on number 2, until the film comes out that is. If the film ends up being as bad as I'm hearing it could turn out, then they're going to have no choice but to give up the rights. This is just a mess waiting to happen...

Let's try this again....

It seems that Michael B. Jordan is a definite player as the Human Torch, and it sounds like the rest of the casting is all going to be based around him -- WTF???

Well... they knew that Johnny was the most popular character in the first two films. So....

I really did like him in Chronicle. Fox seems to think that the normal FF4 concept simply doesn't work for today, it looks like they are blowing up the familiar FF4 structure. Remember, this is the studio that thought everyone would be happy with Galactus as a cloud.

Me too. Reboot the series in the opening credits like The Incredible Hulk, cast an appropriate cast meaning don't try to make the FF a bunch of teenagers, and roll from there. A FF movie in Marvel's hands could completely change Phase III and it could be EPIC!

Im sorry but that Galactus cloud was amazing and epic! I dont know where supposed comic book fans keep on talking about a giant man version of Galactus? He's always been a big, scary cloud.

Unless you're being sarcastic, this post is a complete and total falsity.
