If it is Sleepaway Camp, I hope Scream Factory releases the 100% uncut version. I don't mind when movies cut out unnecessary content, but I loathe the censoring of movies. A Sleepaway Camp 2 & 3 double feature would be very much welcome in the future as well.

I assume that both posts are about the same thing so it looks like we can narrow this down to an 80's slasher movie.
I saw the post too. However it's now been deleted it looks like. Hmmm?

I'm gonna try and watch Sleepaway Camp again tonight, however last time I tried to watch I thought it was absolutely boning. Although I hope it is Sleepaway Camp for all of those out there that want it.

The director, who owns the rights, has a fully uncut print of the film.

I'm just the opposite... would love to have SLEEPAWAY CAMP... which is far better than it's sequels and/or MADMAN....

The Director of the sequels own them, and also has the uncut versions of each.

I feel like neither owners/directors would have an issue licensing the 3 films out, they themselves even seem to be freinds. I wouldn't think one would agree, and the other wouldn't. Therefore, I'd assume all 3 films would come at the same time, if they come through scream at all.

-

But I don't think Sleepaway Camp is the title, I LOVE it, one of my favorites, but think of all the other Slashers they might actually have access to.

There's no real evidence that it is Sleepaway Camp, they only announced a few days ago that they would even look into the films. I just don't see it being absolutely, positively, indefinitely, SC.

Some people are saying "its 100% Sleepaway Camp". How so? If that's the case then every slasher movie not represented currently could be it.

Let's not jump the gun. Its safe to speculate but its unrealistic to throw around terms like "definitely" and "100%". Especially without even the faintest hint of evidence. (Even though we ALL would love it).

Considering it seems they're announcing simply a single movie, if it is "Sleepaway Camp", I'll welcome it with open arms, it is no doubt a genre classic.

But, I can't help but think that a double feature of "Sleepaway Camp" and "Sleepaway Camp II" would be a lot cooler, and I feel exactly the same about the upcoming release of "Slumber Party Massacre." Had they made it a double feature with the somewhat more impressively terrible yet hilarious sequel and just ported over their own existing extras from the set they released on DVD that includes all the films and a lot of bonus material, it would've been enough for me to sell off that set because I could careless about the third movie, the first two are the best.

But, I suppose their reasoning behind not doing double features of either of these movies would be that, the first films in both series' are strong enough to have stand alone releases, which is true. And they also probably aren't going this route because there's more sequels to be had.

If it's not Sleepaway Camp, my guesses are either Hell Night, Cheerleader Camp, or Shocker.

I'm assuming this is that 3rd title they were referring to when they announced Night of the Demons and Witchboard. Just to round up the hints we have for tomorrow's announcement:

Sleepaway Camp makes the most sense. Justin took down his post because he probably gave a HUGE hint that it was a slasher.. a major slasher, its retro 80s...
All points turn to Sleepaway Camp but I will never say 100% certain because SF can surprise us. Id rather have Pumkpinhead , Society, Without Warning and Fright Night II.
That being said what if they did get Hell Night or Motel Hell...

I just watched Motel Hell. I liked it but the gurgling noises almost made me sick.

All of those titles would be fine by me, especially Pumpkinhead or Hell Night.

Said it before, I'll say it again. I didn't like Pumpkinhead. Lance Henriksen was awesome in it, as he is in everything, but I just hated it.

Sleepaway Camp is a horrible film but unfortunately I think it is the one they are talking about.

I'm not 100% sure that last hint from Justin Beahm was referring to a Scream Factory release or something else altogether. Anything's possible.
