Default Recommend on speakers or should I go HTiB

I recently made a thread about wanting to upgrade my system and what reciever I should pick up. At that point I really didnt know what I wanted to do because I have some what I think are some pretty nice jbl HLS620 floor standing speakers that I wanted to use but I was informed that I would need to find a matching center which would be pretty hard because these are some old speakers and that piecing together a setup would require a lot more effort and money than I first thought. But anyways now I'm going to completely honesty and am leaning towards a HTiB. I know what all you guys think about them and I know that this is wrong place to post this but no one uses the HTiB part of the forum. So forgive me we are my questions and list of answers to questions you may be asking me.

Here's what HTiB I am looking about buying later this year when get the findings unless someone has other opinions or suggestions is the Onkyo HT-S9400THX amazon has it for 775

First off is this system good? Is it worth that price tag?

The room I plan on setting this up in a 10Wx30L but I only plan on setting up this in the one side making it so I only have to fill a about a 10x10 or so space. Will this be system be good enough for the needs?

I plan on doing mostly gaming on a lot of games including battle field 4.So I don't really want any pass through lag. Will this be an issue?

Another question I would like to add is that my tv is 240hz will pass through effect that?

Again I plan on using this set up for mostly gaming but I will also be using it for movies and the occasional music session. So I want my sound to sound very full and not hallow. Will this system provide that for me in the environment I plan on using it?

Any feedback would be great and I do know that I will hear a lot of the "piece it together yourself it will be better" I'm very new to audio and don't understand to much so any help there as well would be nice if you do have other feed back.

Again I know this isn't the right place to post this but I know HTiB is dead 90 percent of the time. Feel free to delete if you want want
