Dual Blu-ray disc for HFR 3D? (Just an idea)

An idea just ran over my head.

Would you guys accept if one possible way of delivering HFR 3D to home would be to split the movie into two Blu-ray discs? One disc each for the left and right eye. Obviously, we would need a different player that loads and plays the two discs at the same time.

Also, this could allow backward compatibility, playing HFR 2D by loading just one disc.

Now, I know I have not explored all the nook and cranny of actually making this work. But just the idea of having a dual disc playback, instead of pioneering a new disc format altogether, would you invest in this idea? Let's discuss.
