The 3D photography is excellent in this movie (minus the 2D segment) and puts most modern live 3D to shame. Depth is strong, and roundness is nearly perfect. 3D definitely benefits the story-telling. There are a lot of pop-outs, and most of them are so extreme that I couldn't converge on them sitting close (5ft) to my TV screen.

The story is very cheesy and started to drag for me, despite its short runtime. It's kind of a low-budget, noire-slapstick hamfest. I couldn't pass up adding it to my collection though, being only the second 3D movie of the 1950s. I basically enjoyed it as a fun 3D history lesson and am very interested in seeing more 1950s 3D on BD3D, especially the ones with more well-regarded stories.

The PQ of the transfer is good--very grainy, but detailed as you might expect. Unfortunately, the only special feature is the theatrical trailer. Overall, thumbs up for the release. Thumbs down for the price.
