Titianic upconverted

Alright. I popped in Titanic in my ps3 last night. I figured I'd see how it looked upconverted. For some reason it was treating it as a full screen movie and had black bars on the right and left instead of top and bottom. And to top it off, it stayed at its original 2:35 projection. Usually when I throw in a 2:35...it takes up more screen. 1:85 takes up the whole screen etc. Anyone know why that would be?

I pop in The godfather (1:85) it takes up the whole screen....same with American Gangster. I put in Braveheart(2:35) It plays it correctly. I throw in Titanic....it treats it as though it's a regular tv. Something wrong with the disk itself? I guess I really need to ask Paramount to bring titanic to Blu SOON! Anyone else have this problem?
