July 2014 Update: Official Netflix trailer for season 1

The show is now also posted in Netflix ("coming July 4th"), and announced as a Netflix Original Series (wonder if Netflix has co-financed? Or probably just an exclusivity agreement)

This is not a new news per say (the article is from late 2012, time of the deal with Netflix), but Summer 2014 is right around the corner, the series has started in Japan on time (April 10th was the first episode), and SnK is one of my favorite mangas EVER

Do you like Macross (Robotech for many in the US) and/ or Battlestar Galactica?

It's been a thousand years since the Gauna, a strange alien race with no known method of communication, destroyed the solar system. A portion of humanity managed to escape using enormous "seed ships" like the Sidonia, which have allowed them to maintain the population while drifting through space. Nagate Tanikaze is a young man who has been raised deep in the bowels of the ship. When he goes into training to pilot the huge robotic weapons known as Gardes, Nagate is entrusted with piloting the legendary unit known as Tsugumori. Nagate and his fellow pilots put their lives on the line against the Gauna, in the ultimate battle for the survival of humanity.

I try to follow every scan release, and have started to buy the Kindle edition (somptuous, just very slow to release), and I cannot wait for Netflix's broadcast.

Hoping that a Blu Ray edition will follow afterwards...
