New Pioneer Elites

I have searched the forum and haven't found much, so if this has been posted before i apologize..


Looking to buy a new receiver, and the main one i am looking at now is the Pioneer Elite VSX-94THX. I am uncertain on whether i should purchase this now, or wait for the new Pioneer Elite models to come out in August i think?

The main things i want in the receiver are a minumum of 140x7, lower the THD the better, ability to handle the new high-res audio (obviously), and minimum of 3 HDMI in.

The 94 covers all those things, so what are the newer models going to bring? just do everything better or will their main focus be new features?
