Well that's wonderful.

I had to take a few minutes to suspend my disbelief when I saw HHH in Blade Trinity, and The Rock initially in Walking Tall and Scorpion King.

Same for Batista. I kept waiting for him to show up, and when they finally did introduce his character, I immediately thought wrestling.

I loved Iron Man 3. I am baffled by the hate it gets. But I thought The Avengers was nothing special, so the general public gives no shits about what I think.

Saw this elsewhere and had to share. Cause it's sadly true.

Thought this was an awesome movie. Was it the best in the marvel universe, no way. It had some awesome moments. I was very surprised how much I enjoyed Rocket, Groot and Drax. The humor was wild. I give it a strong 4 out of 5 stars.

Yeah wrestlers should really stick to wrestling. Never try anything new ever.

Pretty much the textbook example of a great summer blockbuster, with tons of humor and good dialogues to boot.

Will see again if possible

5/5 - pure entertainment at its best, but not dumbed down

In the MCU, my list

CA2: TWS
GotG / The Avengers
Iron Man
Thor 2
Iron Man 2
TiH
Thor
CA
Iron Man 3

And that one line he said in the movie
[Show spoiler]"they have abandoned the city"
told you all that you needed to know. Something MoS never bothered to do.

While acting is pretty much the entire thing they do in the ring..

Not every wrestler is cut out for making the jump to movies. Only a few are.

I think we can definitely include Batista in that small list of good actors outside the ring.

Agreed.

I like that he admits that he has limited range as an actor and is working to improve and still taking acting classes and whatnot.

He's taking his craft seriously.

Indeed. I always worry when there's a wrestler in a major role.

But the role played to his strengths and he really shined as the character.

[Show spoiler]That scene where he comforts Rocket by petting him.... oh my god the feels!
