StudioCanal will release on Blu-ray Ari Folman's (Waltz With Bashir) latest film The Congress (2013), starring Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Harvey Keitel, Paul Giamatti, and Jon Hamm. The release will be available for purchase on December 8th.

Synopsis: Based on the novel by Stanislaw Lem (Solaris). Robin Wright stars as herself in this drama directed by Ari Folman. When mature actress Robin Wright realises that no studio will offer her work anymore due to her age and her unpredictability, she agrees to sell the rights to her digital body to be replicated in computer-animated films. 20 years later, while attending the Futurological Congress Conference, she discovers that the studio who recorded her digital image now have the technology to morph a human into their own personal avatar. Agreeing to undergo the process to be turned into an avatar of herself, Robin soon starts experiencing hallucinations as her conscience battles the transformation.
