I'm not a big fan of the text on the back covering the guy's face, and the text in the back is kind of hard to read due to the color, but that front cover is gorgeous. Fantastic work for your first attempt!

The poster art you have used is one in a series of three by Marko Manev, the others being Total Recall and Conan the non-barbarian.

Do you have any plans of adapting these as well?

(for what it's worth, I support the vote for an alternate version with the specs of the original BD release of Predator, the one with the overall best PQ)

I would swap the paramount logo with the blu ray logo and put that on top. I would shrink the quote on the back down you are on the right track. Like where its headed.

I've been making covers for all of the Marvel movies since December of last year. Captain America 2 comes out next week, that's when I'll be showing off my cover for everyone to download.

Have you done a 'complete Phase One' cover?

So I've been getting a lot of messages concerning my MCU cover(s), and I think I've finally found a way to handle the backs of the collection covers.

Rather than a real back I wanted to do sort of a reversable cover where the front is the artwork version and the back is a more simplistic alternate side to showcase. The Avengers logo will be replaced by the SHIELD logo for Phase 2, and whatever fits best for Phase 3. Each phase gets a different quote, the first one being part of Fury's Avengers speech. What do you guys think of it?

Btw I know there's a long time between updates, but that's a personal problem of mine as I tend to shift between projects rapidly depending on my inspiration.

Speaking of inspiration, as much as I hate the next movie, I had a great idea for a cover and I went ahead to design it:

I know the main image of Bumblebee is from Dark of the Moon, but with the amount of editing to the background and lighting I thought it could still be a fit for Revenge of the Fallen. (Getting the pyramid to blend in properly was the worst part of the whole process.) It's been updated since I saved this preview, as I made some changes to the custom title treatment and such, but this should give you a good idea of what I'm aiming at.

Aiming to get some more work done on the MCU covers before Saturday as I'll be heading to Italy for a week after that, which as you can imagine will mean I won't get much progress done then Phase one will definitely be done within the month. (With the right amount of time I'd have it done this weekend, but classes have started again and my schedule is pretty full.) Conversions to other sizes and such are already on my mind, so please hold off on the requests for now as I'm already trying to cover as much ground as I can with my limited time

And my point is that art, actual painted art, is infinitely better than a photoshop collage.

Great update on the Marvel cover. A small note though, for listing the names of the films on the back, I would make one line for each. The way it's currently done, it looks like the first four film titles kinda run together (with the line space looks line a roman numeral 1). But everything else looks classy. And maybe it's just me, but it would be cool if you included a bit more of the whole quote (I mean the "And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes and heroines found themselves united against a common threat." part).

And for the SHIELD Logo for Phase 2, perhaps maybe one with the HYDRA logo shadowing in it?

thanks! i did finish the custom, but just as i finished, i found a better higher resolution copy of the cover, so i just changed the cover over to that, and here it is.

Nice work on the red Marvel update Scorpion, but I agree with GoldMotel about the film titles looking too combined per line. Also, I noticed your logo on the front says "Avengers Assembled", but the spine omits the "D". You might want to fix that.

On the whole, the plain back looks good, albeit a little too simple; not sure why. Still, a great effort; thanks for sharing.

Great cover, not sure I care for the blue special features box as my eyes are drawn right too it. Do you have a version without? Love the rest of it though!
