I agree completely. The d-pad feels entirely like an afterthought.

eek. And I thought going after Bad Juju was bad. I'm about halfway through my strikes for that one. Going to run a 2-3 more playlist strikes until I hit the vanguard mark cap tonight and then it'll be back to the regular devil's lair strikes over and over until I hit 25 strikes.

Not looking forward to part three and having to do my own crucible time - though it will be good for trying to the the max crucible marks in a week trophy as I'm not particularly likely to get that unless I focus on it.

Was up to 15 coins and trying to decide if I should get whatever the exotic was being sold this weekend, but I guess "the weekend" doesn't count Sunday night central time so the decision was made for me.

Definitely looking forward to the Craptarch patch (guess I'm going to have to stop calling him that) which I'm assuming will be Tuesday.

I was expecting that as well in the first DLC since even in the story missions Mercury is brought up.

Not sure how I feel - $15-20 for what basically amounts to 10-11 new maps or sections of map (7-8 pve, 3 pvp).

So that what, adds 20% to the story missions, ~30% to the strikes, 100% to the raids, ~25% to pvp maps (and maps only) and who knows what to patrol. All for about 25-33% of the cost of the original game.

It feels a little light on first glance, but feels a bit more substantial at a percentage level...

What I want to know is when they fill that third open subclass box.

Do you get anything from dismantling a legendary gun? I got a legendary scout rifle but I have an exotic auto rifle so not sure I want to keep it.

I need to get started on the raid, do you just need the same team leader then whoever else can just join at random, or has it got to be the exact same 6 everytime?

One fireteam leader, and that is changeable. Everyone else can come and go as necessary. I don't think you really mean random, do you. I've played on three different realistic raid parties, and only finished with one of them thus far. Don't start the raid today. Start tomorrow.

So what wisdom did he give you? In case I go again next week. I can tell you that the time we finished, the fortuitous thing about that was that no one was killed by a supplicant upon exiting the portal on any occasion. That was the one thing that was different from most of the previous attempts, so the same three were able to get positioned to get teleported every time. Unfortunately, I don't know what they did differently on the outside to make that happen.

Morale!! He was really great handling the relic at the final part so that was huuuge. But ya its all about getting a rhythm per say. Everyone has to be on top of the adds outside the portal because those suckers can make things harder than they have too.

Hmmm...so I turned i four bounties at once today and was offered exotic weapons bounties to choose from. I wonder if that is how you get them? I'm not sure if that' what happened last time. I chose the on from Ikora ray where I have to complete 5 strikes without dying. I have a feeling this is a setup...

If yours was like mine; after you do the 5 strikes, it will ask you to do something else.
My second requirement was some crazy request in the Crucible. I abandoned it.

Shotgun!! Just do devils layer. Easy to get done without dying once high enough.

Which is exactly why I think I'm being set up. I think Dodgerblue has a 21 strike bounty, so I can team up with him and knock a few out.

Yes, I got that shotgun. It's a good shotgun. I love running up to legionaries and one-hitting them. One more upgrade, and it will regenerate ammo. If that crucible bountry was the 25 k/d spread, it was not as daunting as it seems. I am not good at PvP, but managed to get that bounty in about 5 tries. It's cumulative, and it's generous. Assists count as kills, and I know there was at least one match where my spread was 0 and I still got credit for two. I almost abandoned it, but I am sure glad I did not. The last bounty was to sell all my special ammo synths. That was expensive.

I finally racked up enough Vanguard rep to unlock some Legendary gear to purchase. Got a chest piece and that leveled me up to 23, good enough to start going after the Queen's missions. Ranked up to level 24 after one mission. Soon I'll have enough for the raid.
