In one of my leagues Peterson was dropped almost immediately (and nobody ever picked him up), and in my other league he wasn't dropped until yesterday.

I dropped him weeks ago. Dead weight. The odds of him playing again this season are slim.

Peterson got dropped in my league in like week 1 I think and if you ask me his NFL career is over.

I don't think TV ratings say much about about success when it comes to halftime shows. Just about everyone whose watching the Super Bowl keeps the same channel on during halftime and I seriously doubt many people flip over from watching something other than the Super Bowl just to watch a brief halftime act. The NFL could wheel in the corpse of Elvis on stage at halftime and still draw the same ratings.

After just 5 weeks

People think this is stupid, but I love it.

And I'm glad our fans were the first ones to chime in. I don't pay enough attention to college football until it's the NFL offseason and the draft is approaching, but I like most I've heard about Mariota.

Only thing that scares me is that he plays for Oregon and may very well be a system QB. He doesn't take snaps from under center, so that is a big issue.

At the end of the day, I want the #1 pick because of the sheer value that comes with it.

I said CLOSE. Didn't say #1. Top 5 yes. Jets are garbage this year and could very well get #1. But the jags and titans would have to start winning some here soon for that to happen.
