That appears to be the case. (I've since learned not to complain about my last two shipments bordering on "lost in the mail" time-limitations. )
Amazon gives you the option ( ) of Priority Mail, but DeepDiscount.com picks the cheapest alternative ahead of time, which would be Media Mail.

...Still worth it for the free shipping, but in these days of crisis, we must accept Circumstances Beyond Their Control.
