Glad those guys worked out for you. Sorry I had to bail as it was getting late and I need to sleep to start the new work week. I never played with Turner outside of Madden but it seems like he knows what he's doing. His group plans on playing it on Hard mode Friday which I obvioulsy can't make.

Yeah, I tried that as well but eventually gave up. I also tried to solo the raid just to play around with it and see which weapons were working the best etc. One of the guys from our clan jumped in and I had to tell him that we had no shot of completing it and I was just fooling around. He stayed for a little while then left then some others showed up (which I didn't think could happen unless that was another raid going on or something). I wish they'd allow you to either spectate or run through it in a "god" mode so you could sort of "study" how to play it, etc.

yea if i see people in a raid with less than a full party i will usually try to join.

really wish there was matchmaking for these. But so far its the only way ive been able to get in a raid, since its kinda hard for me to schedule a set time.

7:16 Weapons have no level requirement, only weapon levels. A weapon you get at level 1 is just as effective as a weapon at level 20. This means every weapon is a viable option. Meaning you can use any gun you prefer. Giving you a huge selection. Also this means you can receive amazing weapons even exotics throughout your playthrough from start to finish even on low levels, its a smart way to do loot.

7:15 Thunderlord. Glimmer, Weapon Kit and Talent Point needed for upgrade. No upgrade materials. Maybe get talent points for using the weapon? Much more interesting upgrades.

You're a champ for not going to orbit with me in your team. I was planning on just doing Patrol missions and bloom farming (like you were, Im sure)- when I saw a trio of folks doing the new Loot Cave, I decided to stick around over there.

Tried the Nightfall with two people, it's a slaughter. The final Wizard Wave in the "opening the door" phase...sheesh. Also, figures its Arc. I have no Legendary Arc Heavy, I have to go with either Plan C or Thunderlord as my main Arc, and Plan C is much more reliable.

I don't think you're done just yet, after you get the ammo from Xur, you'll need to kill 500 enemies with a machine gun.

Super Good Advise sits in my vault, the only good thing about it is, after you finally upgrade it to the "missing shots return to your mag"... but the range is less than most shotguns.

So you need arc, not solar damage? I thought wizards had solar shields?

Great. No decent arc weapons...

They still have solar shield but the strike has an arc bonus to it.

Your instincts were correct. I tried to solo the weekly heroic at level 28. Not a good idea With three at level 28 it's a grind but doable. But I go 9 coins out of it. Hope Xur has something I want this weekend.

First time I got the random event of "pikes heading this way" at the Forgotten Shore. Had Ice Breaker so sniped one of the Fallen off it and then took it for a joy ride around the Cosmodrome. Took care of that kill 100 enemies bounty really fast.

I cheesed Atheon twice after getting a hard raid checkpoint. Never tried cheesing myself before and did it on first try after getting supercharge. Did it again to help some clanmates. Got the Timebreaker legendary sparrow and another Vision of Conflunce.
