What a heart breaker watching both of these together back-to-back. The plane crash that took both of their lives in Winter of February, 1959 was tragic. I was in the 8th grade at the time, and the music in these films is what pulls at the heart when you see how talented they were and how young they died.

I suppose other tragic music based films highlighting legends may still be in the works among writers. If not, I hope the message gets out.
