This came to me today, because I was thinking of watching E.T. which is my favourite film of all time, but then I thought that I've watched it 2 years now in a row, and probably won't again now, because I don't want that thing I feel when I see it to go away or the power of it diminish.
Do you feel that way too about certain movies that you love dearly? Do you try to avoid watching them multiple times? I feel that way about absolute favourites from my childhood that I had watched multiple times. Fortunately I have some new favourites that I have watched once or twice, so i can watch them again if I like.. |
