I have the movie version sitting on my shelf, to be honest I don't even think I've looked at it yet, so I didn't even realize they'd made it 5.1 The DVD release of the full OVA was a very welcome LPCM stereo. I just can't see how you can cut it down to 90 minutes and still have Gunbuster work. I also hope they didn't go sound FX replacement happy, The Gundam movies replaced the beam saber/cannon sounds, the US version is actually better because it retains the original mono track.

Always seemed more like Giant Robobuster to me. I like how the ending ties in, but they can keep the rest of Diebuster IMO. The whole thing just felt wrong
