I hope so. Seeing it tonight. I'm not expecting it to live up the original, but I just hope it's something I can call a worthy sequel.

I'll be seeing it Saturday or Sunday.

That's a long release date for a movie coming out in November. I would have thought it might come out on blu-ray in the middle of March or early April at the latest.

Maybe they'll co-release it when Dumb and Dumber To comes out. I mean surely the studio knows how strong the demand is for it (the theatrical version).

I seriously hope so. I was just thinking about that tonight, that New Line could re-release the original when the sequel hits video, but usually they re-release the original just before the sequel hits theaters.

For now, the theatrical version is available to stream on Netflix. So at least that's a little better than DVD.

I've seen the Theatrical Version countless times on VHS, TV and DVD.
I gotta say, I love the Extended Cut that is on Blu-Ray!

I remember when it took 3 years for a movie to be released on home video, on VHS, after the theatrical release date. So for only a 6 month wait for Blu-ray, it doesn't seem that bad.

So? This isn't the VHS days. Six months is way too long these days.
