I never played Magic Knight Rayearth, but SF3, and StHA were 2 of my favorites. Panzer was good, but i was more a fan of the first 2 shooters and not the RPG angle.

Yup. Like most of ya, I'd go for Dreamcast. I just wanted that console so badly. Only ever played it once in a store though with Virtua Fighter 3 running. Back then, I never even heard about online gaming. I couldn't believe the Dreamcast could do that until years later. It was just the console that pioneered the way we think about gaming.
Also, how could you say the Turbographix was a flop? It was a huge success as the PC Engine back in Japan. The only flaw would probably be that slow 8 bit processer. The Mega Drive/Genesis, had a 16/32 bit processer. |

Intellevision - too bad by the time it started hitting mainstream, Mattel decided to pull the videogame plug.
Althought the Coleco was much better graphics wise and Sega CD had some fun titles (but having too many power transformers on an extension cord was a PITA) |

Oooh, good one. I had that one. I really liked it, too.
You can still buy one via amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Atari-Portable-Handheld-Video-System/dp/B000O52X56/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=121580579 9&sr=8-1 Quote:
I voted Dreamcast for the Dead or Alive games... Plus, on the football game, I was able to beat anyone who ever played me by over 100 pts. As a matter of fact, they only get the ball once the whole game. :-) |

I always had a thing for Mattel's 1980 Intellivision. For me it was a more refined system over the Atari 2600. The sleek numeric-bubble pads had a 16 direction control over the Atari's blocky 8 direction one button joystick - not that it really mattered much in actual game play. And then there was the always on-going, never fulfilled promise of a keyboard with extra memory(64k)/cartilage slot and printer to get an affordable computer. Despite the slip-up, it was my machine, By 1982 - 2,000,000 had been sold. Too bad I diden't save mine.
Now the PS3 fills that role of came console/computer that I always wanted for my TV er HDTV. Back to First Systems Last edited by U4K61; 03-06-2010 at 06:19 PM. |

I actually liked the Sega Game Gear. I bought that for my son and when he wasn't playing it, I was. It had the coolest thing too, it was capable of playing TV with an add-on.
