Other than that there's a lot of crucible points to be had but that's going to be very time consuming.

Shotgun is going to be hard for me since I only use them in PvP. Almost useless for me in PvE.

What a night! Just added Invective to my collection. Bounty made much easier doing Control. Thorn might be out of my reach though with Void burn.

Yeah, that one takes forever as you might be stuck with a weapon you're not all that comfortable with just to get those Void kills. And then after that long process, you find you still have to do an extraordinarily difficult task in a strike (which you should definitely ask for help for). However, since I've been getting killed in the Crucible by the damn thing so much lately, even though I'm not that big on hand cannons, I'd like to get mine leveled-up to see how well I do with it.

I've done the Crucible Void kills. Wasn't too bad but I had LIGHT/Beware Fusion Rifle and Prudence II Sniper Rifle with Void burn. I quite like Crucible so I enjoyed the challenge.
I'm currently on the Summoning Pit Strike which on my own I can get to Phogath without much trouble but its difficult from that point on. I need Fatebringer to help with the Knight Shields as I already have Ice Breaker for the Wizards shields

I just got this bounty (my goto primary is the Red Hand IX hand cannon which I love), yesterday, but haven't started on it. The Crucible part will be really tough for me. I've got a void shotgun and fusion rifle, but they're both blues. If I can get my hands on heavy ammo, (near impossible for me), I can do some damage with The Culling or Corrective Measure machine guns.

I can vouch for the guys here. They're all really willing to help out.

Lol, maybe. It is a tough one for sure! I have done it 3 times. The thorn is worth it, I have been using it more lately and love it.

I used the epilogue to get through the crucible part and it still took a while, most of a Saturday night.

That strike was ridiculous the first time I did it. Myself, my friend, and my wife all had the Thorn bounty though so I helped them do crucible real fast, and then we did the strike together.

Recently I solo'd that strike to get an updated Thorn, but I was level 31. So, probably cheating a little.

It went very good. @ 55 minutes. Heck, it only took two attempts to get Atheon.
Its been a good Destiny week. I got to Raid Crota with the New crew, VOG with the West Cost OG Blu guys and some old Blu friends that I haven't played with in a long time, VOG with Lizzard/Rick and the guys and two VOG's with new guys. And Casual and Burn are back. Again
