Has anyone pre-ordered this? I'd be very grateful for pics when they receive a copy if so and also to know that it is English friendly with no forced subs etc.

I've been resisting picking up the regular US BD release. Now I know the reason

Can anyone confirm if this French release is same as the German one, ie no forced subtitles (removable subs etc). Many thanks

According to a post in the 'other place', it has forced subs which can be removed by your remote's subtitle button.

The only TF1 blu I've had previously was Midnight in Paris and I couldn't remove those for sh1t.

If they can be removed, then they're not forced surely? If you see what I mean. As long as they can definitely be removed as you mention Midnight in Paris as being one where they are glued to the image, very annoying!

Well that's what I thought. I'm assuming that they're defaulted on which is what they mean by forced.

Unless you can get concrete confirmation that they're removable then I wouldn't risk it. TF1 have a track record of putting out at least some of their titles with irremovable subs!

Thanks councilspectre, i will just get the standard German release then which has been confirmed as having removable subs. As you say, best not to risk it without concrete confirmation with this.
