That's the on I have as well - I'm as big a Jurassic Park fan as they come (I've lost count of how many copies of it I own) so this should have been a no-brainer for me but even I can't see any reason to double-dip on this

The idea is fine, but the shitty, awful CGI that isn't even close to screen accurate is just atrocious. I've no idea how anyone can like it.
I'll at least defend it to say that it's not CGI or supposed to look screen accurate - it's deliberately cartoonish. I mean, it's still awful but they weren't going for photo-realistic.

The Rex in the mirror? Even if designed on a computer it's clearly supposed to be an old-style drawing rather than a proper CGI dinosaur. A throwback to this kind of style from the original release:

I'm not defending its crappiness - it looks cheesy as hell, and not in a good way like the above picture - just that I don't think the artist sat back and thought "now that's a photorealistic dinosaur!"

I'm just saying it's technically computer generated imagery, aka CGI ..I think it looks more videogame-ish than anything. Kind of like what you see in the JP game from Telltale Games

I think I'll pass on this one.
I no longer get catalogue titles in steelbooks.

I don't even think anybody's noticed that the 3D disc isn't included. Everyone seems to be just complaining about the cover art.

Pass.

The 3D transfer in my opinion was garbage and I'm glad this doesn't have it. Even more DNR, and an awful change in colour timing. Wanted my money back after seeing it in cinemas.

The 3D version is absolutely spectacular, one of the best looking 3D titles out there.
