JVC to cut 1,800 jobs - Blu-ray Forum

JVC...said the job cuts will come from its possible exit from conventional VHS video and related business and spinning off its recording media operations.

Too bad, I alwas thought of JVC as having great quality. I still use some JVC stereo components from 25 years ago.
