Because I'm a fan of the 1967 original, I've had my eye on this one for a couple of years. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...&highlight=viy
The original is only available on DVD, but if you love fantasy films and practical effects, it's a good time: The new version has got some CGI-itis, but I will probably get it before say, Thunder and the House of Magic. I love all animation, but I would probably shell out for a Russian Van Helsing cheesefest before I take a chance on CG big-eyed kittens. Don't get me wrong, I'll probably end up with both eventually ![]() |
