How is there no thread for this yet?! Comes out TOMORROW, and not even a review up on here yet. Nobody talking about it.

This, to me, has been the best movie of 2015. Absolutely stunning cinematography. Wonderful performances by the two main leads. Nice, slow burn, with such a fun and rewarding final act. The last sequence of the movie was something I've never seen done before. Brilliant film, can't wait for mine to come in.

Was waiting for the site review to come out on this, but I'm a sucker for any western made these days. It's a genre that doesn't get the love it used to anymore.

I'm not a fan of classic Westerns. John Ford stuff. Or spaghetti Westerns. But something about modern Westerns really draw me in. I loved True Grit. Really liked Django Unchained (if you want to consider that a Western). And this movie was perfect. Helps that Fassbender is one of my favorite working actors.

Any westerns from classic to modern work for me so will have to check this out, and I do like Fassbender as well.

Really great film.
Amazing performances especially from Fassbender. That man can do no wrong (forgave him for Jonah Hex)

Streamed it thru Amazon Prime July 4, 2015.

Excellent film. Beautiful scenery. All the casts were excellent. The sets were so cool, real earthy believable.

Nice little movie. I have a soft spot for quirky westerns, and this definitely fits the bill. Great performances, stunning visuals, satisfying story.

Solid, tightly paced western with a modern sensibility. Amazing how well the New Zealand landscapes fill in for Colorado territory.

I really enjoyed the cinematography of this movie, it was magnificent.

Also a good movie overall, definitely worth owning.

More people should be aware of this Fassbender indie movie.

Too many unlikeable characters... including the one you would hope you would like. I wanted her to be the one to get a bullet, if you know what I mean.

I just saw this on Prime. I liked it a lot. I think I'll be getting the blu-ray.

One of the things I liked the most was the use of what I'd describe as "literal metaphors", things that are usually said metaphorically but actually happen in this case.

If not done correctly those things could've come off cheesy but they nailed it in my opinion.
