Don't get me wrong I love Will & Grace but I don't think 3 set sitcoms really need the HD treatment, I think they look good enough on DVD.

Then you haven't watched the DVD set recently. The compression is awful.

No my ex had the set, I should have said they should be in HD but not on Blu-ray.

This is an especially ridiculous comment to make after there was HD streaming that was removed. If you have something on Blu-ray it can't be taken away, even if it goes out of print you can still buy a used copy.

Even though I 100% agree, at this point in time, I'd settle for a Digital HD of Will & Grace. The show is so overlooked, I doubt it'll get the Blu treatment it deserves in the US.

On a seperate note, did anyone catch Partners - the short-lived show after W&G by the same creators? Any good?

I know this is an old topic, but some1 on another forum I visit who's from Germany said they've started playing the first season of W&G in 720p HD just like Friends. But no1 from Germany has capped it yet!

That's great! Are we sure it wasn't stretched?

Hopefully IF it comes out, they won't use the syndicated versions.

Don't know yet if it was stretched or not! I hope some1 from Germany does cap it so all us W&G fans will know if a BD release will happen someday!

I bought the series on DVD and the quality is pretty poor (at least on my HDTV), but the worst part is that a lot of the episodes are edited and some aren't even in the correct order. Don't know how they could be so sloppy with that and why they would use the syndicated versions. I honestly would have been fine with the DVD's for a while if it weren't for those two problems. Now I too would love to see the series get released on Blu-ray and hopefully they'll do it right this time.
