I noticed this earlier - and pre ordered. The cover sums up that particular batman era to me.

It has that old skool feel to it.

Lets just hope its gloss with a debossed title.

I'll say the same thing I said in the superman thread:

The artwork look like selfies, especially how it's off-center making it seem like he's holding up a camera and everything,. Not to mention dat selfie pose

Wow, I like it! Think it looks great and better than the one sheet SteelBook I have already.

However judging on the hate on this SteelBook, I can probably afford to wait and lower in price.

haha, I was in the process of trying to figure something out with th images, when I decided to overlap the Superman steel over the Batman. When you erase Lex you're left with almost a perfect side by side of Batman and Superman. Even the titles at the bottom don't overlap! It's like a retro Batman vs Superman cross-over

Unlike many others, I didn't mind the artwork.

It would have been better with some gloss and debossed treatment. The inside artwork is pretty dark too. Missed opportunity for sure.

Don't know why I went against my better judgment and ordered this from Amazon.fr but I'm officially done with them unless they adopt better shipping practices. Why can't they all be like Amazon.de?

My original order was received damaged and then the replacement order had worse damage than the original order.

I should also add that I ordered the Superman steelbook too and that too was received damaged. Haven't received that replacement yet. Will wait to contact Amazon once I know the condition of that one.
