Does Best Buy (inadvertently or otherwise) carry any region free blu-ray players? I may have a couple gift cards there incoming, but not interested in getting a region locked player.

Good luck. You're better off ordering from bombay electronics or 220 electronics. The region-free capabilities are a modification - literally a chip soldered to the circuitry. This makes it a violation of factory warranty and technically an FCC violation. So don't go to best buy.
