I recently had the pleasure of meeting Jeff Lieberman after a screening of this film's 4K restoration (which looks fantastic), and he said that the blu-ray release could be out as early as next month. He said that he's already recorded a commentary track for it, and he cited the wide assortment of other extras as the likely reason it has taken so long to get released.

One of my favorite films from Jeff Lieberman, can't wait to get this! Now if only we can get Satan's Little Helper too, albeit unedited

I asked the same question on FB around that time and got a similar response, but no official street date from Distribpix yet.

I received my Blu-ray of Blue Sunshine in the mail today, and it's a wonderful package. It was also mailed well, with protective cardboard inside the envelope and such.

I won't take photos, because everyone will laugh at the sub-par picture quality from my five year-old iPhone, but what you've seen in the thread already is what it is, and it's pretty great.

The standard Amaray Blu-ray case is pretty fat with all of the content inside, and it fits tightly into the beautiful slipcover, so be careful when removing it at first. The signed magnet is protected by cardboard outside of the package, but the other swag is packaged inside the Amaray case along with the three discs (Blu-ray/DVD/CD soundtrack).

The signed magnet is on my refrigerator wall.

It'll be a little while before I watch the Blu-ray disc, because I'm using July to catch up on some still-unwatched westerns in my collection, but this is a great set.

I took a picture of my set. I agree, it is great.

Thumbs up

I was extremely impressed with both the transfer and the package. A truly terrific debut blu ray for FilmCentrix. I really look forward to seeing their future titles.

Did anyone take the tabs to see if there was real acid on them at this price? That, and well maybe there's a silk road limited edition out there.

I'd like to know this as well My copy came in the mail earlier, and I'd obviously never take them out of their little baggy, but I'd be curious to know if they're actual tabs

Although a new brand name, the parent company has released a few Blu-rays already. Porn films with the same attention to detail.

Yep, Distribpix. They are an awesome company. It's kind of a similar thing with Vinegar Syndrome and Etiquette Pictures.
