Great thread! Don't forget the potential for comb filtering with dipoles.

For fun with interference patterns using a ripple tank, try this. Change "setup" to two sources (speakers), then dipole and then move the speakers (using your mouse) to the room corners.

Elemental Designs makes custom dipole speakers. You should add them to your list.

Are you sure they are dipole speakers? The only information I get is that they are MTM speakers. Horizontal MTM speakers are usually built for center channel.
