He clarified that he got it directly from the distributor and not picked it off the shelf. Also, in his second post he points out that he opened them '10 minutes' ago to indicate a timeline of 'newness' compared to his initial that didn't lead to any time comparision which could indicate that they've been opened before and been replaced.

Review copies were sent early last week or so, I forgot which day it arrived, and they are fine. I don't see how they could mess those up if earlier copies are fine...

I have a copy that was shipped early to me by the retailer I pre-ordered with. The disc label was definitely for the new Incredible Hulk movie, not 2003's Hulk. I have not played the disc yet - I will do so when I return from work today to verify that it is in fact the 2008 movie.

Very curious about this - I hope someone is able to post why the recall was instituted, and how to tell if you have a "bad" disc (if the recall isn't just because some batches got the 2003 Hulk - I think it'd be easy to tell which is which in that case!).

Yeah, I hope that is the only issue, I even hope that maybe they were just mis-labeled by accident with the original disc art but the movie itself is actually the incredible hulk???

This is reliable ..all of the other boys posting @ AVS is just a lot of speculation at this point.

That's not true at all. Check the first two posts in that thread. Both reliable sources.

maybe its marvels revenge on the people who hated the 2003 movie. I am one of the few that liked the 2003 movie better then the 2008 version.. I find this to be very funny if true. I own the 2003 on bluray. I will probably just rent the reboot version to see the deleted scenes.

Really doesn't make sense, if review copies are fine then how could the others be wrong? It's not like they make them on a separate line. I could see it being some very small issue, but nothing major.

I wonder if a certain batch has the 2003 film, and only retailers who received shipments from that batch are getting the recall notice? I really wish this was all clear so we could know what was going on.

It will become more clear before long, but this information is just now coming in.

I know of at least one other retailer who had this issue with their initial shipment. I'm not sure if all the copies were wrong as they had copies to exchange if someone got the wrong one in the case. I wouldn't say it's widespread but considering two places in separate provinces have had an issue I wouldn't say it's exactly isolated.

I know when i worked at a book manufacturer years ago,Quality control was at the line monitoring the customer samples to make sure they got the best available, so that may be why

I love the 2003 Hulk. I like it better than the 08 version, although norton is one of my favorite actors and probably better cast as banner. I really like how the 2003 one was shot, and the overall feel of the movie. Way more of a comic book feel, which is what I find more interesting. I just watched it on blu-ray and man was the PQ great.

I actually really like Ang Lee's Hulk too. I thought the newer film was more entertaining though, and I like the new design of Hulk better. Lee's Hulk was definitely the deeper of the two, and I didn't mind the pacing that much. But I now own both of them. And yeah I agree about the PQ on the 2003 Hulk, it's amazing. As is the PQ on the Incredible Hulk.

I just opened mine and was shock to find Ann Lee's Hulk bluray inside. I thought this should have resolved one year back. Anyone can provide some advice? I got the bluray from Inetvideo.

That's just stupidity on their part, they probably put the wrong movie in there. Hopefully they will resolve it and on their dime.
