I ended up watching the movie Thursday night and I would give it a 6/10. I loved the world, the magic, the costume design, the battles and anything related to the Orcs, but the overall story, tone and pacing is just all over the place. Its better than most other video game adaptations and its a film that clearly had a lot of love behind it, but it could have been SO much better.

I can't see it being a huge success at the box office, but considering how well its doing in China, I think it will get its money back. I would like to see them continue with sequels so long as they take the criticisms to heart and attempt to make a better script based on that. Gonna be interesting to see how the blu-ray release is handled. Hopefully they have different versions based on the whole "Alliance vs. Horde" thing they had in the advertisements for the movie.
