However a day later and still no email. I might have missed some condition such as tickets only sent closer to release date or something like that but I'm kinda like "now what"
I bought the BD yesterday, redeemed the ticket last night and it was emailed immediately.

Yep. The 3 disc is available almost everywhere else except Australia. Clearly the local distributor has no qualms about asking you to buy twice if you want 3D and the bonus material. I’ll happily be waiting a bit longer and paying a bit extra for what I want, from Amazon UK.

Well glad you got yours but I've still got nothing oh well there's a number on JBs site to call regarding any issues so I will call them when I get home.

Reading through the T&Cs I reckon it would be safest to buy different versions separately, to get a ticket for each purchase. Seems the ‘unique code’ you need for redemption is one per receipt, not per item, but I could be wrong.

20% off at JB again today btw. Anybody know if the local steelbook (or digibook) can hold a third disc?

So if I buy the 3D I don't get a theatrical 2D version of the film only the extended version ?
Gets to complicated for me all this stuff
Just give me one version with everything how hard is it I don't care paying a few bucks more

SO - from the 3D disc checked in JB today - you get the following from Roadshow...

1. 3D - Theatrical version
2. 2D - Ultimate version - plus the few extras on that disc

Miss out on the 2D version Theatrical plus the 2 hours of extras.

(cover states the Theatrical is only in 3D).

Time to send Roadshow an email (however given my Telstra line has 'water' in it today (like a few weeks ago) - and it disconnects every few mins... it's going to take me a while ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR !!)

Nice one. I thought about it myself before considering they were unlikely to respond with anything meaningful, if at all. Interested to see what the response is though, now that you’ve gone the yards.

They are responding to posts about the releases on FB, but nothing about this specific issue as yet.

Trust me guys, after watching the Ultimate Edition, you won't go back to the Theatrical whatsoever. I bought the Digibook and the 3D version but to be honest, I don't think I can watch the 3D version now with it just being the Theatrical Cut.

Thanks fellas I'll pick up the 3D can watch both versions and always pick up the 2D version later but both my tv's and pj are all 3D I can simply turn the 3D off for now (would prefer the 2D disc though in this case as well)

Picked up the steelbook today with JB's 20% off sale and the extra 5% coupon for newsletter subscribers

Though I'm a bit concerned; I ordered this click and collect and didn't get a usual receipt when I picked up my order. It doesn't contain any special unique code to redeem the Suicide Squad movie ticket. Did anybody else order click and collect and have an answer to calm my concerns?

I believe they said codes would be emailed for online orders in 7 days, not sure where I read that though.

Can someone take a photo of their Digibook side by side to a regular Amaray.. curious as to the thickness, if it's Taxi Driver size or Sorcerer size. Thanks!

It's about the same width as the Re-Animator:

If it were just the theatrical cut of the film then it wouldn't be so bad but that disc contains the majority of the extras so by not including it a lot of extra content is missing.
