That's exacltly why it would be reasonably to assume that Nashville was released in 1976 as its set in that year.

All the extras in the DVDs are in the Blu-ray too, so it's fine for them to ditch the DVDs.

FYI, the BD-only version is already out at Costco. I picked up a copy a few weeks ago.

I went to criterion and can't find anything on this. Why did they rerelease it? Will they do that for other duel formats like Ace in the Hole etc?

I bought a copy a couple of weeks ago at Costco, and it is a single-disc "Blu-ray edition" in a clear plastic case.

I think someone round here mentioned that Scanners was available at Costco in the plastic case. I haven't seen it myself, though.

I watched this film last night with my parents. I loved the film, my mum hated it, and my dad thought it was good. Mum just didn't understand the film at all. Even though she stayed till the end, she still said it was bad. I don't understand people anymore.

Can anyone who has the non-digipak re-release of Nashville confirm whether it comes with the booklet, or some re-production of the materials from the booklet?
