As much as I loved the Ice Age franchise when it first began, I can't help but hope you're right about that. The first film was amazing, the next two weren't bad, and the fourth was mediocre. I never saw this one, but the reviews were atrocious and the (domestic) box office terrible. On a $105 million budget, it only pulled in $64M when none of the previous entries ever did under $160M. Unfortunately, the international box office managed to push it over the $400M mark, so another sequel is still entirely possible even though North American audiences have clearly had enough of the franchise.

Had the UHD release been a 4K+3D+BD combo I'd probably still have purchased this in order to support the inclusion of 3-D discs in UHD sets, but since it didn't I'm not going to bother buying any version.

Saw this in the movies with my 9yo daughter who normally likes anything. Afterwards she commented about how boring it was. Had to agree with her. Needless to say, I'll be saving my money on this one.

SAME!! I want the 3D...but I am done with the series. They need to end it on this one and move on,imo

This is one to add to the collection when it gets a nice price drop. Not worthy of the 24.99 price tag.
